The Sun is shining, go SOLAR and Save!

The Sun is shining and the weather is.....sweet? It is spring in Canada and the weather is finally warm again. Soon it will be summer - the season of SOLAR will be upon us! This June finds us in a great position with respect to recent developments on the local Solar front in Ontario!

As we Canadians crawl out of from under the frozen blanket of fear that the "sky is falling" due to the meltdown of the US financial industry to the south we realize that although there may be a slow down in the Canadian ecomomy we are much better off then most of the world thanks to our ultra conservative banking system. As a result there is alot of new opportunities to be found in the Green Energy Sector as we move ahead and make investments of time, energy and money into this industry.

In Ontario we have recently received alot of good news with respect to rebates and incentives from the Federal and Provincal governments with for Solar energy.

The Green Energy Act was passed on May 14th and will create lots of new jobs in the green energy sector over the next few years. On the solar front, in particular with respect to Solar Hot Water Systems, we are thrilled with the new rebates and an additional tax incentive which makes the Globe Solar Hot Water System much more accessible to homeowners. In fact with a $5,000 loan from the TD bank you can for the next year at least get a system installed for zero cost - after you collect your rebates and incentives and use them to pay down your loan.
